Fleet/PM Tech Full job description Ross Bus Sales, the exclusive authorized Blue Bird School Bus dealer for Louisiana, is expanding into the New Iberia area and we're looking for a skilled and motivated Preventative Maintenance Service Technician to join our team. If you're experienced with heavy-duty vehicles and want to work in a modern, climate-controlled facility, this is your opportunity to work with a trusted name in the transportation industry.

What You'll Do:

• Conduct inspections, preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety and emissions standards
• Perform beginner to intermediate diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Blue Bird school buses and related heavy-duty equipment
• Utilize OEM software and service manuals to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with a supportive team of professionals committed to quality and safety

What We're Looking For:

• 1-3 years of experience working on heavy-duty equipment (trucks, buses, construction equipment, or similar) with ambition to learn and advance
• Diagnostic and mechanical skills
• Willingness to learn, grow and adapt to new or unfamiliar procedures, job types, and safety requirements
• Familiarity with diesel engines, hydraulic and air brakes, electrical systems, and HVAC
• ASE or OEM certifications are a plus (but not required)
• CDL-B or ability to obtain one is preferred
