Job Description
Job Summary River Rental Tools (RRT) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pump Mechanics to join our dynamic oil and gas rentals and service team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of pumping and engine equipment used in the oil and gas industry. Your expertise will ensure optimal equipment performance, safety, quality and reliability across various operational sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a growing company in a fast-paced environment, contributing directly to the success of our clients' projects. Responsibilities Perform hand on inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on pumps and engine equipment including hydraulic, diesel, and electrical components. Equipment includes but may not be limited to triplex pumps, centrifugal pumps, power packs and light plants. Read, interpret and complete maintenance documents, manuals, inspection and maintenance procedures. Responsible for, and will be held accountable for, the proper use and completion of all maintenance and engine check lists for equipment worked on within the department. Utilize computer to document maintenance and testing activities. Conduct diagnosis, troubleshoot and correct equipment issues. On occasion, the Mechanic may required to repair engines off shore or remote land locations. The Pump Mechanic is on call on occasion and could be called out early morning, late evening, weekends, or holidays. Experience Requires three plus years experience maintenance, servicing and repairing small to large engines, transfer pumps, power packs, light plants, etc. commonly used in the oil and gas service industry. Hydraulics, diesel engines and electrical. Prefer technical school training in general engine repair. Proven experience working in industrial environments with a focus on equipment maintenance and repair. Basic math skills required to read and interpret equipment test results. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex mechanical or electrical problems quickly and effectively resolve issues on-site or in the workshop. Excellent communication skills in English with a customer-focused approach to service delivery. Our company is an equal opportunity employer and a drug free workplace. Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
