Why This Role Matters The Shop Technician plays a crucial role in supporting the operations of our aggregate mining and construction company by maintaining an organized, efficient, and well-equipped shop environment. This hands-on position includes conducting basic equipment maintenance and inspections, and ensuring that the shop remains clean, safe, and operational. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and has a passion for working with tools and equipment! What You'll Be Doing

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing fluids, replacing filters, and lubricating moving parts
• Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs on company fleet vehicles and equipment
• Assist in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical issues on heavy equipment
• Work closely with mechanics and field crews to prioritize, document, and communicate repair progress and maintenance activities
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations
• Take on additional shop-related tasks as assigned to meet team goals What We're Looking For
• Basic understanding of shop tools, equipment, and safety protocols
• Reliable and self-motivated with a proactive and positive attitude
• Ability to effectively work independently or as a team, while prioritizing multiple tasks
• Previous experience in a shop, construction, or equipment-related environment
• Familiarity with aggregate construction equipment is a plus!
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
