Job Description

We are recognized as one of the nation's leading producers and transporters of sand and gravel, with operations spanning multiple locations across the region. Our team is dedicated to executing a wide variety of projects, from large-scale highway construction to private development. We are looking to add a Shop Technician to our team! Why This Role Matters The Shop Technician plays a crucial role in supporting the operations of our aggregate mining and construction company by maintaining an organized, efficient, and well-equipped shop environment. This hands-on position includes conducting basic equipment maintenance and inspections, and ensuring that the shop remains clean, safe, and operational. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and has a passion for working with tools and equipment! What You'll Be Doing
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing fluids, replacing filters, and lubricating moving parts
- Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs on company fleet vehicles and equipment
- Assist in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical issues on heavy equipment
- Work closely with mechanics and field crews to prioritize, document, and communicate repair progress and maintenance activities
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations
- Take on additional shop-related tasks as assigned to meet team goals What We're Looking For
- Basic understanding of shop tools, equipment, and safety protocols
- Reliable and self-motivated with a proactive and positive attitude
- Ability to effectively work independently or as a team, while prioritizing multiple tasks
- Previous experience in a shop, construction, or equipment-related environment
- Familiarity with aggregate construction equipment is a plus!
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Full-Time, Non-Exempt Pay Range :
$24-28/hourSchedule:
