Mechanical Inspector & Test Technician wanted with 2 or more years of direct inspection experience. F/T position with fast paced Aerospace MFG company located in Bohemia, NY. Applicants must be a US person to be considered for this position. Applicants must be able to competently visually and mechanically inspect and test products, materials, and assemblies to determine conformance to requirements. Must be able to demonstrate the use of mechanical measurement equipment (micrometers, height gages, optical comparators), read technical drawings, understand GD&T, use Excel and basic functions, and be prepared for a proficiency test if you should interview on site. Candidates applying should be eager to contribute to the team and company success. Should have good mechanical aptitude, be able to read a tape measure, read, write, and clearly communicate in English. Must be organized, detail oriented, work well in a team environment, be dependable, capable of lifting 50 Lbs. and have a reliable means to get to/from work. We are seeking candidates that presently live locally and within a reasonable mileage range of our facility in Bohemia.
