We are looking for skilled individuals who can provide maintenance and repair services on heavy machinery, trucks, hydraulics, and engine systems in a timely and accurate manner. Responsibilities Diesel Mechanic/Technician is responsible for maintenance and repairs to our company-owned heavy equipment fleet and trucks. This can include cleaning, maintenance, visual inspection, and removal of parts and attachments as needed. Installation with the help of proper manuals, report writing, disassembly, assembly, parts reuse evaluation, and reconditioning. Qualifications Knowledge of heavy equipment and ability to diagnose issues Knowledge of tools as required to complete equipment repairs and diagnostics Travel required - home weekends Troubleshooting skills for diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical Willing to work overtime CDL is preferred, but not required Reliable transportation to and from work Take initiative to perform tasks Maintain equipment and components OSHA Health & Safety rules compliance Welding experience is preferred, but not required Able to keep shop area presentable A/C, Brake, & DOT Annual Inspector Certifications preferred, but not required Minimum 3 years experience or vocational graduate Benefits Paid based on experience 40 hours per week plus some overtime $35 per night when working out of town Paid hotel and travel expenses when working out of town Paid PTO Health, Dental, and Vision insurance and supplemental insurance Paid Life Insurance policy of $25,000.00 401K investment - matching after one year of employment Professional development opportunities On-the-job training About Us DT Specialized Services is celebrating over 20 years in business.
