ABOUT THE ROLE
As part of the America's team, SANY of Tulsa is looking to recruit a driven, forward-thinking, and highly motivated Advanced Road Technician With the deep investment and backing of SANY Group, the Americas business expects to grow significantly in the coming years. Critical to this growth is the appointment of a high-quality Advanced Road Technician This role is responsible for performing complex diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on SANY and other makers of construction and industrial equipment. With current revenues over $500 million, SANY America continues to make strong progress and significant investments in the Americas market; the organization is now pursuing an aggressive growth strategy and is looking to move quickly beyond this initial platform and increase their market share.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Diagnostics Repair & Maintenance Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair SANY and other make of construction and industrial equipment in the shop and at customer locations. Perform advanced preventive maintenance and inspections to support equipment reliability, performance, and safety. Use diagnostic tools, OEM software, schematics, and technical manuals to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions efficiently. Lead or assist with equipment overhauls and major component replacements, including engines, transmissions, hydraulic components, and final drives. Perform welding, fabrication, attachment installation, and other equipment modifications as required. Customer Service & Documentation Provide on-site customer support and build strong relationships that encourage repeat business and customer loyalty. Communicate clearly with the Operations Manager, service personnel, and customers regarding repair needs, costs, timelines, and equipment status. Identify and recommend additional services, repairs, or parts that would benefit the customer's equipment and operations. Complete accurate and detailed service reports, timecards, warranty documentation, and required job paperwork promptly after each assignment. Leadership Training & Safety Provide technical guidance and hands-on support to entry-level and intermediate technicians in the shop and field. Participate in manufacturer training programs to maintain certifications and stay current with service procedures, technology, and product updates. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment and comply with OSHA requirements and company safety policies .REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or trade certification preferred. 5+ years of experience in diagnosing and repairing construction or heavy equipment. Proficiency in hydraulic systems, diesel engines, electrical diagnostics, and powertrains. Experience using OEM diagnostic software (e.g., Cummins Insite, Yanmar, Smart Assist, Caterpillar ET, John Deere Service Advisor, Komatsu Komtrax, or SANY software). Valid driver's license; CDL or ability to obtain one is a plus. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in varying conditions (shop and field). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Welding and fabrication experience. Ability to train and lead less experienced technicians. Excellent customer service and communication skills.WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Onsite-Tulsa Based on site at SANY of Tulsa. Ability to work in shop and field environments, outdoors, and in varying weather and jobsite conditions. Ability to lift to 75 pounds and safely perform the physical duties required to inspect, service, and repair heavy equipment.TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Frequent (50%+) Extensive travel to customer locations throughout the surrounding service territory.COMPENSATION
