Heavy Equipment Mechanic - 1st & 2nd Shift TDF Services | Pittsburgh, PA | Full-Time About Us TDF Services is a trucking and equipment repair company based in Pittsburgh. We keep a heavy civil construction fleet running on PennDOT, municipal and utility projects across Western Pennsylvania. When our equipment is down, crews are down. We need mechanics who can find the problem fast and fix it right the first time. We're hiring for first and second shift . Tell us which one you want when you apply. What You'll Work On Pavers, rollers, milling machines, excavators, loaders, skid steers and support equipment Tri-axle dump trucks, tractors, lowboys and other heavy trucks Diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, drivetrains, brakes and air systems Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical faults and drivetrain problems Carry out preventive maintenance on schedule: fluids, filters, greasing and inspections Use diagnostic software and laptops to troubleshoot electronic engine and machine controls Weld and fabricate as needed for repairs, attachments and wear parts Make field service calls to job sites when equipment breaks down Keep accurate work orders, parts records and service histories Follow DOT and shop safety requirements Requirements 3+ years repairing heavy equipment or heavy trucks Strong hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting skills Valid driver's license Your own hand tools Able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather Available for first or second shift Able to work extra hours during paving season, including some weekends Preferred Class A or

B CDL PA
