Role Description Shop and Field Technicians at Company Wrench are responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of heavy equipment and attachments, both in the shop and at customer sites. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting equipment, troubleshooting mechanical and hydraulic issues, completing scheduled services, and documenting all work in accordance with company and safety standards. Technicians collaborate with the parts and service teams to identify required components, support equipment rentals and sales, and ensure timely and accurate repairs that minimize downtime for customers. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lexington, SC, requiring consistent interaction with customers and colleagues in a fast-paced environment. Technicians are expected to uphold Company Wrench's high standards of service and safety while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Qualifications Strong Maintenance & Repair skills, with experience servicing heavy trucks, construction, or demolition equipment. Hands-on experience working with Heavy Equipment, including familiarity with hydraulic systems, attachments, and related components. Effective Communication skills to interact with customers, service coordinators, and team members, including clear documentation of work performed. Proficient Troubleshooting abilities to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and determine efficient repair solutions. Safe and competent Forklift Operation skills, and the ability to handle and move heavy parts and equipment as needed. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders. Commitment to safety practices and adherence to OSHA and company guidelines. High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in diesel, automotive, or heavy equipment technology is preferred.
