APEX Pro Services LLC, a Women-Owned Small Business and federal prime contractor, is hiring an experienced appliance repair technician to service washers, dryers, and gear-washing stations at military installations across Oahu. The primary location is in Kaneohe, Hawaii. This is a part-time, long-term opportunity for a dependable technician who can independently diagnose problems, complete high-quality repairs on commercial appliances, and document work accurately. Primary service locations include MCB Hawaii Kaneohe Bay, Camp Smith, Pu'uloa, and surrounding installations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Diagnose and repair commercial and residential-style washers, dryers, and gear-washing stations Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and gas-related equipment problems Perform repairs to manufacturer standards and applicable safety procedures Complete preventive maintenance, equipment cleaning, and full-cycle operational testing Safely connect and service electric and gas dryers and gear-washing equipment Remove and install refrigerators and oven ranges as needed; these appliances are swap-out/install only and are not part of the repair scope Identify and document required replacement parts; all approved parts and materials will be purchased and paid for by APEX Pro Services LLC—employees are not expected to use personal funds Maintain sufficient parts inventory to support as many as 12 simultaneous defective appliances. Complete DD Forms, service logs, photographs, and other required documentation Meet established response times and communicate repair status clearly

EQUIPMENT YOU'LL SERVICE

The fleet primarily includes Maytag, Speed Queen/Speed, Whirlpool, GE, Electrolux, and Alliance equipment. Common models include Maytag MLG27PRBWW-series dryers, Speed Queen LWN432SP-series washers, Whirlpool CSP2861TQQ1 and

CAE2745FQ

units, and Electrolux EFME527UIW0-series dryers. Washers are electric. Dryers and gear-washing stations include both electric and gas equipment. Refrigerators are electric, while oven ranges may be electric or gas; refrigerator and range work is limited to removal, connection, and installation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

At least three years of professional experience repairing washers, dryers, or similar commercial/residential appliances Hands-on experience diagnosing electrical and mechanical equipment problems Experience working safely with gas and electric appliances, including gas-line connections Valid Hawaii driver's license and a clean driving record Ability to pass a background check and obtain DBIDS access for military installations Ability to work independently, manage service documentation, and meet response deadlines

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION EPA

Section 608 certification

COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE

$40-$48 per hour, based on verified experience

Part-time:

10-25 hours per week Flexible choice of workdays, with all shifts scheduled Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Overtime pay when applicable In-person work at military installations across Oahu Opportunity to grow into larger facilities-support contracts Join APEX Pro Services and use your technical expertise to help maintain essential equipment supporting Marines and military facilities across Oahu.
