About the Role As a Technical Trainer for HVAC Systems, you will empower the next generation of technicians by bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and field application. By leveraging your deep understanding of climate control technology and mechanical systems, you will cultivate a classroom environment that prepares students for successful careers in the HVACR industry. Responsibilities Facilitate dynamic classroom sessions and practical lab workshops to build student proficiency in HVACR maintenance and repair. Demonstrate advanced diagnostic techniques for heating, ventilation, and cooling equipment to ensure students master real-world troubleshooting. Drive student success by providing one-on-one mentorship and constructive feedback on technical projects. Contribute to the evolution of training materials by integrating current industry standards and emerging HVAC technologies. Promote a culture of safety by enforcing rigorous adherence to industry-standard protocols and equipment handling procedures. Assess student progress through hands-on evaluations to ensure competency in system installation and service. Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent credential. Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in residential or commercial HVAC, refrigeration, or boiler systems. Demonstrated ability to explain complex mechanical concepts clearly to diverse learners. Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, supportive approach to professional development. Preferred Skills Active EPA 608 Universal Certification. OSHA 10 or 30-hour safety certification. Prior experience in technical instruction or formal mentorship roles. Proficiency in modern HVAC service, installation, and preventative maintenance workflows.
