Position Summary:

This is manual work. Troubleshooting and repair of HVAC systems. Work involves performance of skilled HVAC tasks in maintaining, repairing, and servicing a variety of HVAC equipment. Routine maintenance, service, and repair work are performed independently.

Responsibilities:

Assembles, installs, and repairs pipes, fittings and fixtures of heating, cooling, water, sheet metal and other HVAC related parts and equipment, Cuts openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and/or duct using hand and power tools. Assembles ductwork, cuts sheet metal, and duct insulation. Troubleshoot & repair or replace heating, cooling, ventilation and refrigeration equipment and assemblies. Assist other technicians as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years' experience in the HVAC industry VRF experience desired. Hold a valid driver's license. Maintain an insurable driving record. Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams Must have EPA Certification Ability to lift 50+ pounds. Ability to work in confined spaces & in all types of weather. Ability to pass drug & background test.

8 hour shift Day shift On call Overtime (as needed) Weekends as needed Year round work
