$40-$55/hour, based on experience, licensing, and qualifications Overtime Available Position Overview Established plumbing company in Weston, MA is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team. We are looking for a skilled technician who can independently diagnose, service, repair, maintain, and install residential heating and cooling systems. We are also open to a Massachusetts licensed plumber with substantial HVAC experience and the appropriate HVAC certifications. This is a full-time position for an experienced technician who takes pride in their work, communicates professionally with customers, and can manage service calls from diagnosis through completion. Responsibilities Diagnose, service, and repair residential HVAC systems Install and replace heating and cooling equipment Service boilers, furnaces, hydronic heating systems, central AC, heat pumps, and ductless systems Troubleshoot controls, thermostats, pumps, electrical components, airflow, and system-performance issues Perform refrigerant recovery, evacuation, charging, and leak diagnosis when properly certified Complete system start-up, testing, and commissioning Clearly communicate findings and recommended repairs to customers Maintain accurate service documentation Ensure all work complies with applicable Massachusetts codes and licensing requirements Participate in the company's mandatory emergency on-call rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled Qualifications 3-5+ years of residential HVAC service experience preferred EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Experience with boilers, furnaces, central AC, heat pumps, ductless systems, and hydronic heating Ability to independently diagnose and complete HVAC service calls Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Strong communication and customer-service skills Dependable, organized, and professional Must be willing and able to participate in the mandatory emergency on-call rotation Candidates must hold any Massachusetts licenses required for the specific work they perform, which may include: Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License Massachusetts Journeyman or Master Plumber/Gas Fitter License Compensation & Benefits $40-$55/hour, based on experience, licenses, certifications, and technical ability Overtime opportunities Additional compensation for emergency on-call coverage Take-home company service vehicle Company gas card Company phone/tablet Company-provided specialty HVAC tools and diagnostic equipment Uniforms Tool/boot allowance Paid licensing and certification renewals Paid continuing education and manufacturer training Exceptional candidates with extensive HVAC experience and multiple trade licenses may be considered above the posted pay range. Pay:

$80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
