$62,400 - $72,800 based on experience and certification Position Details The Maintenance Coordinator/HVAC Technician's primary responsibility in monitoring Belding Area Schools and coordinating maintenance and repairs of the district's HVAC systems. This position performs regular maintenance duties and also skilled work in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and operation of commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and building automation systems. The successful candidate will assist in scheduling maintenance staff, coordinating contractors, maintaining regulatory compliance, and ensuring district facilities provide a safe, comfortable, and efficient learning environment.

//jobs.redroverk12.com/org/4003/opening/194667 HVAC Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems throughout the district. Maintain boilers, chillers, rooftop units, air handling units, exhaust systems, pumps, unit ventilators, VAV systems, and refrigeration equipment. Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot Building Automation Systems (BAS/DDC controls). Perform preventive maintenance in accordance with district schedules. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system failures. Maintain proper refrigerant handling in compliance with EPA regulations. Respond to HVAC emergencies and after-hours service calls as required. Maintenance Coordination Responsibilities Assist the Director of Facilities in planning preventative maintenance programs. Coordinate work performed by outside contractors and vendors. Monitor work quality to ensure compliance with district standards. Assist in maintaining inventory of maintenance supplies and repair parts. Recommend equipment replacements and facility improvements. Maintain accurate maintenance records using the district's computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Assist with budgeting and capital improvement planning. Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance personnel. Participate in snow removal, emergency response, and other facilities operations as needed. Completes basic maintenance tasks and other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations and / or Superintendent.
