This position performs regular maintenance duties and also skilled work in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and operation of commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and building automation systems. Maintain boilers, chillers, rooftop units, air handling units, exhaust systems, pumps, unit ventilators, VAV systems, and refrigeration equipment. Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot Building Automation Systems (BAS/DDC controls). Perform preventive maintenance in accordance with district schedules. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system failures. Maintain proper refrigerant handling in compliance with EPA regulations. Respond to HVAC emergencies and after-hours service calls as required. Maintenance Coordination Responsibilities Assist the Director of Facilities in planning preventative maintenance programs.
