LEAD HVAC INSTALLER

You'll get variety in your day — full system replacements about half the time, single-equipment swaps the other half — plus the autonomy of building your own fittings on the truck instead of waiting on a shop.

THE BASICS

$30-$50/hour, depending on experience and ability

Schedule:

40-50 hours/week; occasional Saturday (roughly 6x/year for emergency installs)

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead a two-person install crew (you + one helper) on residential HVAC installations Install furnaces, AC systems, heat pumps, mini splits, and high-efficiency inverter systems Complete full system replacements (~50% of jobs) and single-equipment installs (~50% of jobs) Fabricate custom sheet metal fittings on the truck rather than ordering from a shop Occasionally support new construction installs (a handful of homes per year) Collect payment on completed installs Prep vehicle and materials at the shop each morning and return it at day's end
