401(k) 401(k) matching Company parties Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance The HVAC Installer is responsible for the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial projects. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a field team to deliver high-quality installations that meet company and code standards. Key Duties and Responsibilities System Installation Install HVAC systems including furnaces, air handlers, condensers, ductwork, and ventilation components. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation plans. Measure, cut, assemble, and install duct systems and piping accurately. Set and connect electrical, refrigerant, gas, and drainage lines as required. Testing & Start-Up Test installed systems to ensure proper operation and performance. Check airflow, refrigerant levels, electrical connections, and controls. Assist with system start-up and commissioning. Quality & Compliance Ensure all installations meet local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards. Maintain clean, organized job sites and protect customer property. Complete required installation documentation and checklists. Coordination & Communication Work closely with foremen, project managers, and other trades on job sites. Communicate material needs, delays, or issues promptly. Provide basic customer education on system operation when needed. Safety Follow all safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and company policies. Use tools and equipment safely and properly at all times. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1-5+ years of HVAC installation experience (depending on level). EPA 608 Certification required. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge. Skills & Abilities Strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces, attics, and rooftops. Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented. Professional appearance and customer-service mindset. Work Environment Outdoor and indoor job sites in varying weather conditions. Frequent standing, bending, climbing, and lifting. Use of ladders, power tools, and heavy equipment.
