Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. Responsibilities Install new HVAC systems, including ductwork, refrigeration units, boilers, and building automation systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and design specifications Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to maximize efficiency and lifespan, including filter changes, system calibrations, and preventive inspections Diagnose and repair complex HVAC system issues using schematics, electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques Conduct electrical diagnostics and troubleshoot electrical systems within HVAC units to identify faults accurately Repair refrigeration components, plumbing connections, mechanical systems, and electrical wiring as needed to restore optimal operation Interpret technical schematics and HVAC design plans to facilitate accurate installation and repairs Provide excellent customer service by explaining system issues clearly and recommending appropriate solutions for clients' needs Skills Proven experience in construction projects involving HVAC system installation and mechanical systems repair Service technician experience with a strong understanding of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) systems Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and building automation system diagrams Knowledge of HVAC design principles and equipment troubleshooting techniques Familiarity with plumbing systems related to HVAC applications Proficiency in electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters Mechanical knowledge of HVAC components including compressors, fans, valves, thermostats, and boilers Skilled in the use of hand tools necessary for installation and repair tasks Experience with HVAC system maintenance programs to ensure ongoing performance efficiency Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly EPA certification for handling refrigerants (EPA 608 Certification) is required or preferred Knowledge of electrical systems within building automation systems for integrated climate control solutions Ability to work independently in field service environments while adhering to safety protocols Join our team if you're passionate about delivering high-quality HVAC solutions!
