Duties Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems following schematics and design specifications Conduct system troubleshooting using electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify issues accurately Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation and longevity Repair and replace mechanical components, electrical systems, plumbing connections, and refrigeration parts as needed Interpret schematics and HVAC design plans to ensure precise installation and system integration Diagnose complex system failures related to HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) systems and execute effective repairs Collaborate with customers to provide excellent service, explain system functions, and recommend maintenance or upgrades Requirements Proven construction experience with familiarity in mechanical systems repair and installation processes Service technician experience working with HVAC systems or related mechanical equipment Strong understanding of schematics, HVAC design principles, electrical diagnostics, and building automation systems Knowledge of plumbing, refrigeration, boiler operation, and electrical systems essential for comprehensive HVAC work Proficiency with hand tools and testing devices such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to perform equipment repair and maintenance efficiently Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling (or willingness to obtain) is required Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints accurately Willingness to work in various environments including construction sites, commercial buildings, and residential settings Join us in delivering innovative HVAC solutions that improve comfort and efficiency!
