Job Description

HVAC Lead Install Technician Full-Time

Office in West Babylon, NY
Service Territory Greater NY Area Monday-Friday On-Call Rotation HVAC Lead Install Technician is responsible for providing high-quality heating, ventilation, air-conditioning installation services to commercial construction customers.

This role requires strong technical expertise, professionalism, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service while representing the company on-site. What You'll Do Installation of refrigerant piping, ductwork, condensate drainage systems, controls, and related HVAC components. Brazing, pressure testing, evacuation, charging refrigerant systems, and commissioning equipment to manufacturer specifications. Extensive knowledge of HVAC equipment, including split systems, VRF/VRV systems, water-source heat pumps, PTAC units, rooftop units, fan coil units, and ventilation systems Ability to troubleshoot installation issues and ensure systems operate efficiently and safely. Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate findings clearly Deliver outstanding customer service while working independently in the field What You Bring Minimum of five (5) years of HVAC service and troubleshooting experience Strong working knowledge of commercial and residential HVAC systems Experience with AAON, Mitsubishi, Daikin, and LG systems preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Valid, clean driver's license required EPA Certification preferred Compensation & Benefits $100k
