We're seeking an ambitious, top performing HVAC Service Technician with at least 2 years of HVAC service and repair experience to join our team. Must be organized, detail oriented and comfortable working both independently and as part of a crew. A clean driving record is necessary. What You'll Be Expected to Do The service technician position is a field position representing Clyde S. Walton, Inc. on the road and at customer locations. Responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining many types of home heating and cooling equipment, while providing quality customer service to ensure and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, productivity, and safety. This position may also assist with installations as needed.
Diagnosing and troubleshoot furnaces, boilers, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, and related HVAC equipment.
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
Repair or replace worn or defective parts, controls, and components.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams and equipment manuals to identify and resolve system issues.
Communicate with dispatcher, the service manager, and customers as needed.
Test, start up, and calibrate serviced systems to ensure proper and safe operation.
Explain findings, recommendations, and repair options clearly to customers.
Perform inspections of tools, equipment, and the work site prior to and following each job.
Maintain a clean and safe job site, including proper disposal of old parts and materials.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
HVAC service and repair experience: 2 years (Preferred)
Driver's License (Required)
Must Pass a Background Check & Drug Test
