What You'll Do Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, technical manuals, and manufacturer specifications Identify system deficiencies and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions Perform installations, repairs, and equipment modifications in accordance with industry standards and local codes Utilize diagnostic tools, electrical testing equipment, and industry-standard service practices Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate findings clearly with customers and team members Participate in ongoing technical and professional development training Contribute to a positive team culture and support the company's growth initiatives Who We're Looking For Expert-level HVAC and refrigeration experience with the confidence and capability to solve challenging technical issues, mentor others, and help establish the standard of excellence for a growing organization. We are seeking experienced technicians who are ready to make an immediate impact and who aspire to grow into future leadership opportunities as the company expands. Mechanical aptitude and understanding of all system components Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation Strong communication and customer service skills Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working independently Strong communication skills EPA Certification required NATE Certification preferred Manual J, S, and D proficiency Experience with commercial refrigeration systems is a plus Why Join Riptide Mechanical? Additional Requirements Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record consistent with company insurance requirements. Must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the position. Must maintain a professional appearance and conduct when interacting with customers, team members, and business partners.
