CoolSys is seeking a Foreman - Refrigeration Installation to lead field crews on commercial and industrial construction projects. In this hands-on role, you'll supervise installation of rack systems, cases, piping, and controls while enforcing CoolSys's safety-first, customer-focused culture. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, planning daily work, coordinating with GCs and subcontractors, ensuring code compliance, and delivering quality installations on schedule. You'll mentor technicians, troubleshoot technical issues, document work, and support energy-efficient HVAC-R solutions that meet our customers' reliability and performance standards. Responsibilities Lead and supervise refrigeration installation crews on construction projects Plan daily work, allocate labor, and coordinate materials and equipment Install and oversee piping, rack systems, cases, controls, and associated HVAC-R components Read and interpret blueprints, specs, and schematics to ensure code-compliant installations Enforce all Cool Sys and jobsite safety policies and procedures Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and inspectors to keep projects on schedule Troubleshoot refrigeration and control system issues during installation and startup Inspect and verify quality of work, completing necessary documentation and punch lists Train, mentor, and evaluate technicians and installers Communicate project status, risks, and needs to project managers and customers Required Skills Commercial refrigeration installation HVAC-R systems knowledge Brazing and refrigeration piping Reading blueprints and schematics Controls and wiring for refrigeration systems Construction site safety and OSHA standards Crew supervision and scheduling Troubleshooting refrigeration systems Use of hand and power tools specific to HVAC-RDocumentation and basic computer skills
