This role focuses on AC installation, furnace installation, boiler installation, heat pump installation, water heater installation, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, air purifiers, and smart thermostats . You will handle residential installs, system replacements, and HVAC maintenance support. We are a full-service HVAC company providing AC repair, furnace repair, boiler service, heat pump service, water heaters, and 24 hour emergency HVAC service . If you are an experienced HVAC Installer looking for steady residential work in southeast Wisconsin, this is a strong local opportunity with a company serving homeowners since 1955. Responsibilities Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems according to schematics and design specifications Conduct system diagnostics using electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues efficiently Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on HVAC/R equipment, ensuring compliance with EPA standards for refrigerants and ammonia refrigeration systems Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to accurately assemble and install complex mechanical systems Collaborate with service technicians on system testing, calibration, and commissioning to ensure optimal operation Repair plumbing, electrical components, and mechanical systems associated with HVAC installations Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports and system modifications Skills Proven construction experience with a strong understanding of mechanical systems repair and building automation systems Service technician experience in HVAC or related fields such as appliance repair or property maintenance Knowledge of HVAC design principles, schematics, electrical diagnostics, refrigeration techniques, and plumbing fundamentals Ability to operate specialized tools including welders, ohmmeters, and other equipment necessary for installation and repair tasks Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems and boiler operation is a plus Mechanical knowledge covering diverse mechanical systems including pumps, fans, compressors, and valves Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred Certifications such as EPA certification for refrigerants are required; additional certifications in welding or electrical diagnostics are advantageous This role offers an exciting opportunity to advance your career in the HVAC industry while making a tangible impact on the comfort and safety of our clients' environments.
