Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician for a direct-hire, full-time opportunity in Weston, WI. This is a permanent position with a reputable company offering steady, year-round work, competitive pay, and excellent benefits.

PAY:

$35.00-$40.00/hour, based on experience

HOURS:

40+ hours/week

8:00 AM-5:00 PM, Monday-Friday

Job Description

The HVAC Service Technician will diagnose, service, repair, and maintain residential and condominium HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment.

The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, take pride in quality workmanship, and provide professional customer service. This position offers the opportunity to work with an experienced team while continuing to develop your technical skills.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain residential and condominium HVAC systems

Troubleshoot heating, cooling, ventilation, and related HVAC equipment

Read and interpret control diagrams, schematics, and blueprints

Use gauges, meters, testing equipment, and hand tools to diagnose HVAC issues

Identify problems and recommend appropriate repair solutions

Complete service work safely, efficiently, and according to company standards

Communicate professionally with customers and provide excellent customer service

Maintain accurate service records and paperwork

Maintain a clean and organized work area and service vehicle

Participate in ongoing training and certification opportunities

Follow all company safety procedures and applicable regulations

Qualifications

3+ years of residential HVAC service experience

Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

Experience servicing residential heating and cooling systems

Ability to read schematics, control diagrams, and blueprints

EPA Universal Certification preferred

Willingness to obtain additional required certifications; assistance provided

Must possess personal HVAC hand tools

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Ability to operate a company vehicle

Strong communication and customer-service skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable and dependable work ethic

Additional Requirements

Must be eligible to work in the United States

Must have reliable transportation to the Weston, WI shop

Must be able to pass a background check

Must be able to safely perform the physical requirements of the position

Company Vehicle

Technicians will meet each day at the Weston, WI shop for a brief team meeting before being dispatched to job sites. A company vehicle is provided and remains at the shop.
