JOB OVERVIEW
XiJet designs and manufactures a line of high-speed industrial inkjet print systems for sale to print production facilities worldwide. We are a small Engineering and Manufacturing team that is seeking a Hardware Service Technician for in-house manufacturing and service as well as field installation and service of our products. Some travel is required.
Note:
This is not an IT position. DUTIES Industrial product assembly, testing, repair. Assembly of electromechanical subsystems, wire harnesses Customer technical support Product installation and training Field service Packing/shipping of products Engineering support Providing applications expertise Print sample making Trade show setup Demo equipment support
QUALIFICATIONS
Education Minimum High School Diploma / GED with relevant electro-mechanical and software technical training or hands-on certifications. Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred. Work Experience 2+ years of experience with electro-mechanical hardware technical support. Technical Skills Strong foundational knowledge of AC/DC theory and industrial control components, including wire harnesses, solenoids, relays and sensors Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams Proficiency with computer setup Experience with
Microsoft Excel Soft Skills Problem-Solving :
Thinking fast under pressure Ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines Strong attention to detail Excellent communications skills, spelling, grammar Pleasant attitude when communicating with customers Willingness to do whatever is needed and wear many hats This role is ideal for individuals eager to grow their expertise within a vibrant, high-tech manufacturing environment.
