What You'll Do Drill and tap metal control panels and enclosures Measure, mark, and lay out components for installation Perform mechanical assembly and fabrication work Use hand and power tools safely and accurately Read and follow mechanical drawings, prints, and basic schematics Prepare panels and enclosures for component installation Complete detailed assembly work according to specifications Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area What We're Looking For Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with your hands Hands-on experience with drilling and tapping Experience using hand and power tools Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings or prints Experience in mechanical assembly, fabrication, machine building, manufacturing, maintenance, or a similar hands-on environment is a plus Experience measuring and accurately laying out material before drilling or tapping is a plus Control panel or electrical wiring experience is a plus, but not required Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions Dependable attendance and reliable transportation to Darien, IL Ability to work Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00
