This position is responsible for assembling industrial ergonomic lifting equipment and a variety of other industrial products. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will assemble, modify, and prepare industrial equipment and products, including: Scissor lifts Conveyors Industrial carts Dunnage racks Ergonomic material-handling equipment Other custom industrial products Required Skills & Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on assembly experience Ability to safely operate a Hi-Lo (forklift) Ability to read and accurately use a measuring tape Ability to read and understand industrial drawings/prints Experience operating industrial shop equipment, including saws, drill presses and grinders Working knowledge of pneumatic systems and components, including hoses and fittings Knowledge of SAE and metric fasteners, including nuts, bolts, and related hardware Knowledge of hydraulic systems is a plus Experience with industrial painting is a plus Ability to perform touch-up painting as needed Must have a complete set of mechanic's hand tools, air tools are a plus Must possess a valid Michigan driver's license If you are an experienced industrial assembler who meets the required skills and qualifications, we encourage you to apply.
