About the Role As an Industrial Reliability Maintenance Specialist, you'll be the go-to expert keeping production equipment and facility systems running at peak performance. Your craftsmanship and troubleshooting know‑how will minimize downtime, boost equipment reliability, and support smooth plant operations. A Day in the Life The shift kicks off with a quick review of CMMS work orders. An urgent call comes in—an automated cell trips on a fault. You isolate energy via LOTO, track the issue to a faulty sensor on a 480V feed, and restore the line. Later, you switch gears to perform preventive maintenance, rebuild a hydraulic valve, then fabricate a replacement bracket on the mill. You finish by updating parts usage with the reliability team to keep inventory healthy. You Will Diagnose and fix issues across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Execute preventive maintenance and corrective repairs to reduce unplanned downtime Install, service, and repair machinery, electrical components, and process/piping systems Identify root causes of failures and implement lasting corrective actions Fabricate, modify, and repair parts using lathes, mills, grinders, and related machine tools Support upkeep of facility structures and infrastructure when needed Carry out continuous improvement initiatives and close maintenance work orders Document all work and updates within the CMMS Partner with maintenance and reliability teams on parts selection and inventory control Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 5+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience spanning mechanical and electrical domains Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree in a technical discipline Background in manufacturing or other heavy industrial settings Physical Demands Regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing Comfort working in confined spaces and on the production floor Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed Operate powered industrial equipment safely Sufficient vision (including color recognition) and hearing for equipment work Core Skills & Tools Mechanical troubleshooting and component repair Work with 120/208/240/480 VAC systems Electrical diagnostics and repair methods Pneumatic systems troubleshooting Industrial electrical systems and practices CNC machine setup and changeover Hydraulic systems and component service Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) proficiency
