Full-Time Position Summary Cabinetworks Group is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician
  • Electrical & Mechanical to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment in a fast-paced woodworking manufacturing facility.
This role requires strong electrical and mechanical skills, including experience with PLC controls, CNC machinery, hydraulics, pneumatics, automation, and industrial equipment . The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who can quickly diagnose equipment issues, minimize downtime, perform preventive maintenance, and support a safe, reliable production environment. What You'll Do Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated production equipment. Maintain and repair CNC machines, saws, routers, conveyors, motors, controls, and other industrial machinery . Diagnose PLCs, electrical controls, wiring, switches, sensors, and circuit boards. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, including inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and component replacement. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and equipment documentation. Install, modify, and commission new equipment and production systems. Respond to equipment breakdowns and take corrective action to minimize production downtime. Partner with production teams to identify recurring equipment problems and improve reliability. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts usage. Recommend equipment improvements and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and applicable OSHA and regulatory standards. Participate in training and team meetings to maintain technical knowledge and skills. What You'll Bring Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience , preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities. Experience working with industrial machinery, motors, controls, sensors, and automated equipment. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation. Working knowledge of PLC systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical controls . Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Ability to work independently and effectively with production and maintenance teams. Preferred Qualifications Technical certification or Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electro-Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, or a related field. Experience maintaining CNC equipment or woodworking machinery . PLC troubleshooting experience. Electrical or mechanical certifications. Experience with automation, industrial controls, VFDs, sensors, and motor controls. OSHA, HVAC, or other relevant technical certifications. Physical & Work Requirements Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to approximately 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, climb, and work in awkward positions for extended periods. Ability to perform repetitive motion, grasping, fine manipulation, and other physical activities required in an industrial environment. Ability to work in areas with exposure to noise, dust, vibration, machinery, and varying temperatures . Ability to work indoors and outdoors as required.
