Duties Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and mechanical components. Troubleshoot complex issues using schematics, electrical blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes quickly. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks. Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters to assess system health and perform electrical maintenance. Repair or replace components involving welding ( welding if applicable), hydraulic parts, pneumatic systems, or mechanical assemblies to restore equipment functionality. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to facilitate accurate repairs and installations. Operate industrial lift equipment such as scissor lifts safely to access elevated machinery or perform maintenance tasks at height. Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting projects involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC/R systems, or other automated processes. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with production teams regarding maintenance schedules or issues impacting operations. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards. Requirements Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility environment with strong knowledge of industrial mechanics and electrical systems. Hands-on experience with equipment troubleshooting using schematics, blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting methods. Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and maintenance tracking. Technical skills in HVAC/R systems, welding ( welding if applicable), hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical diagnostics. Ability to operate scissor lifts safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints and schematics; experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable. Strong analysis skills combined with customer service orientation to support production needs effectively. Knowledge of precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters for accurate diagnostics. Industrial electrician experience is a plus; familiarity with electrical blueprint reading is essential. Excellent mechanical knowledge coupled with troubleshooting expertise in industrial maintenance settings. Valid certifications in HVAC/R or welding are preferred; ability to work with hydraulic systems and pneumatic controls is required.
