Job Description

Mauser Packaging Solutions seeks an Industrial Mechanic with Electrical skills to support our high-volume manufacturing operations. In this role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment, combining strong mechanical and basic electrical abilities to maximize uptime and safety. You'll perform preventive maintenance, read blueprints and schematics, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Working in a safety- and quality-focused environment, you'll collaborate with operations teams and have opportunities to grow your skills and career. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial production and packaging equipment to minimize downtime Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems Diagnose basic electrical issues using schematics, meters, and PLC interfaces Repair and align mechanical components, including conveyors, pumps, motors, and gearboxes Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems Document maintenance activities and support reliability and continuous improvement initiatives Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout, and promote a strong safety culture Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support equipment upgrades and process improvements Required Skills Industrial equipment maintenance Electrical troubleshooting PLC basics Mechanical repair and alignment Hydraulics and pneumatics Welding and fabrication Preventive maintenance Reading schematics and blueprints Lockout/Tagout safety procedures Use of industrial diagnostic tools
