Job Description

Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment and facility systems during second shift to support safe, reliable, and efficient production. Troubleshoot equipment issues, complete preventive maintenance, and respond promptly to breakdowns to reduce downtime and keep production on schedule. Minimum of six months industrial mechanical maintenance experience strongly preferred. Basic knowledge of principle of mechanic operation. Must have ability to read, comprehend, and follow maintenance manuals. Ability to perform repair welding an asset, but not required Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment to maximize uptime and ensure reliable production of drill pipe. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce unplanned equipment failures and extend asset life. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor system issues quickly and effectively. Support production by minimizing downtime while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Inspect, install, and align industrial machinery, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, motors, and other mechanical components. Ensure all maintenance work complies with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures. Collaborate with operations, engineering, and reliability teams to improve equipment performance and manufacturing efficiency. Maintain accurate maintenance records using the facility's computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that reduce maintenance costs, improve equipment reliability, and increase overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
