Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Day Shift Maintenance Mechanic to keep production equipment running safely and reliably in a high-volume manufacturing environment. In this role, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, troubleshoot equipment failures, and support installations and upgrades. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment during day shift Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime Inspect, repair, and replace motors, bearings, belts, conveyors, and related components Follow safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and company maintenance standards Document maintenance activities and update work orders in the maintenance system Collaborate with operators and supervisors to plan and prioritize repairs Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement of equipment reliability Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment and upgrades Required Skills Industrial equipment maintenance Mechanical troubleshooting Hydraulic systems Pneumatic systems Welding and fabrication Conveyor systems Preventive maintenance (PM) Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Blueprint and schematic reading CMMS/work order systems
