$20.00 per Hour About the Position East Bay Post Acute is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and motivated Maintenance Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate will assist with maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities Assist with routine building maintenance, repairs, and upkeep. Perform minor plumbing, electrical, painting, and general repair tasks as assigned. Help maintain the facility grounds and exterior areas. Inspect equipment and report maintenance concerns or safety hazards. Assist with preventive maintenance and facility improvement projects. Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner. Follow all facility safety procedures and applicable regulations. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Qualifications Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferred. Basic knowledge of building maintenance, repairs, and tools. Ability to troubleshoot minor maintenance issues. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to lift, carry, and move maintenance supplies as needed.
