In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the maintenance, repair, and overall upkeep of building systems and equipment to ensure a safe, functional, and welcoming environment. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of our facilities through hands-on technical work and effective communication with team members. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our facilities while developing your skills across a broad range of maintenance disciplines. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal operation. Assist with repairs involving electrical equipment, plumbing systems, HVAC units, and building interior components using hand tools and schematics. Conduct maintenance painting and carpentry tasks to support interior and exterior facility needs. Use programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently. Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities for compliance and future reference. Support facilities equipment maintenance operations by assisting with schematics interpretation and system diagnostics. Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks, resolve issues quickly, and deliver excellent customer service within the organization. Able to lift 50 lbs Skills Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in electrical work, plumbing, HVAC system repair, and building interior maintenance. Proficiency in reading schematics, technical manuals, and facility diagrams. Experience working with hand tools, electrical equipment repair tools,and maintenance painting supplies. Knowledge of facilities maintenance procedures related to MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) activities. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and effective teamwork. Leadership qualities with the ability to guide junior team members when necessary. Familiarity with residential painting techniques and carpentry skills for interior projects.
