Snapshot As a Maintenance Technician, you'll help keep SKYLAKE running safely and smoothly by maintaining the facilities, equipment, and infrastructure that support our year-round operations. From completing routine repairs and preventative maintenance to troubleshooting issues and supporting seasonal transitions, you'll help ensure the park is safe, functional, and guest-ready every day. Your hands-on skills and attention to detail will help create reliable operations and exceptional guest experiences in every season. What You'll Be Doing Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the park, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general facility upkeep Conduct preventative maintenance and routine inspections of facilities, equipment, and park infrastructure to identify and address maintenance needs Troubleshoot maintenance issues, complete repairs within the scope of the role, and communicate specialized or complex needs to Facilities leadership as appropriate Respond to maintenance requests and operational needs in a timely manner, helping keep park areas safe, functional, and guest-ready Support seasonal setup, transitions, and winter operations, including the installation, removal, and maintenance of seasonal equipment and park features Support the Facilities team with special projects, park-wide initiatives, and other operational needs as assigned Other duties as assigned What Makes You a Fit Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, construction, or a similar hands-on role preferred Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repair practices, with the ability to safely use common hand and power tools Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot problems and complete routine repairs safely and effectively A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to recognize maintenance needs and take appropriate action Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment Physical ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, remain active for extended periods, and perform the physical requirements of the position Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays Why You'll Love Working Here Be part of a brand-new, one-of-a-kind adventure destination High-energy, team-first culture where everyone has your back Friendly, supportive leaders who value communication and collaboration A workplace that celebrates positivity, reliability, and great attitudes Opportunities to learn new skills and grow as SKYLAKE grows Discounts on food, beverages, and retail items An active, outdoor environment that keeps work fun and engaging!
