Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Part-Time Maintenance Assistant to support routine upkeep and light repair work across multiple nearby locations. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable performing a variety of physical tasks.
In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our building's interior and exterior spaces. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and residents alike. Duties Carry out plumbing system maintenance and repairs, including leak detection and fixture replacements. Assist with maintenance painting projects to keep the facility looking professional and well-maintained. Follow safety protocols while working with electrical equipment repair or mechanical systems to prevent accidents. Support customer service efforts by responding promptly to maintenance requests from residents or staff. Other duties as assigned. Experience Experience in facilities maintenance, and repair, ideally within residential or commercial environments. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience is essential for diagnosing issues effectively. Hands-on skills with hand tools, electrical equipment repair, plumbing systems, and painting are highly desirable. Excellent communication skills in English to clearly report issues or explain repairs to team members or residents, some Spanish-language ability is preferred, not required. Qualifications Ability to work independently while following safety standards diligently. Willingness to work at different locations within a three-mile radius. Reliable personal transportation required Ability to lift at 50 pounds.
