Job Responsibilities:

Be able to perform all assigned tasks, which typically include but are not limited to the following: 1. Certification process for on-site forklift training. 2. Pre- and post- mobile equipment inspection. This process is verified with sign-off sheets. 3. General building repair and maintenance. 4. Assisting with special projects (electrical, plumbing, office requests). 5. Ability to climb/work both on and from scaffolding and ladders. 6. Complete grounds work as directed by supervision, which may include picking up trash, shoveling snow, mowing lawns, and maintaining landscaping. 7. Be able to perform all assignments that are requested with accuracy and efficiency. 8. Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift or other power equipment. 9. Maintain facility equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly manner. 10. Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods. 11. Performs other duties and tasks as assigned by supervision.

Basic Responsibilities:

Be able to perform basic responsibilities that include but are not limited to: 1. Reporting to work on time in a well-maintained uniform, and with all issued Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). 2. Follow all safety policies while performing the job. 3. Identification and correction of both potential and existing deficiencies affecting safety and productivity. 4. Wearing appropriate PPE and utilizing all safety equipment. 5. Immediately reporting personal injury or client property damage to supervision. 6. Knowledge and maintenance of all OSHA standards. 7. Reading and understanding chemical labels and bulletins displayed in the workplace to maintain a safe environment. 8. Maintaining all assigned equipment by cleaning, organizing, and performing basic preventative maintenance. 9. Assisting in covering staff shortages as required by supervision. 10. Portraying a courteous and professional image to clients and co-workers. 11. Compliance with all Novelis policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

G.E.D. or High School Diploma required Previous forklift experience preferred Knowledge in a variety of trade areas common to building maintenance Knowledge and experience in how to operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment

MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER LICENSE SCHEDULE

Monday - Friday 4am - 2:30pm
