In this role, you'll help keep CNC, ACME, and Davenport machines clean, organized, supplied, and production-ready. You'll perform routine machine cleaning and lubrication, handle materials and scrap, replenish production supplies, and assist operators with changeovers and general production needs.
Responsibilities:
Clean CNC, ACME, and Davenport machines, workstations, and surrounding production areas, removing chips, scrap, oil buildup, and debris. Perform routine machine cleaning and lubrication as directed, empty chip hoppers and scrap containers, and complete required maintenance and housekeeping checklists. Move, load, and stage raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods while replenishing tooling, fluids, and production supplies. Assist machine operators with cleanouts, changeovers, and other general production support. Follow established safety procedures and report machine concerns, safety hazards, or supply shortages to supervisors.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Manufacturing experience preferred but not required. Experience working around CNC, ACME, or Davenport machines is a plus. High school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to safely use pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and provide support to machine operators. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment and wear required PPE. Reliable attendance and a team-oriented approach.
