Overview Position Title:

General Maintenance Worker (Handyman)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Full-Time reliable, skilled, and self-motivated General Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for a "jack-of-all-trades" individual who can perform a variety of maintenance, repair, and improvement tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining facilities, equipment, and grounds while ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform general building maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical issues as needed. Complete painting, drywall repair, flooring repairs, and other facility improvement projects. Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs. Maintain outdoor areas, including basic landscaping, snow removal, and grounds upkeep. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs. Operate and maintain maintenance tools and equipment safely. Coordinate with vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are required. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and completed work orders. Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures. Assuring the upkeep of out beautiful Historical site

Qualifications:

Previous experience in general maintenance, facilities maintenance, construction, or handyman services preferred. Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and general repair techniques. Ability to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Schedule:

Pay:

$14.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
