Construction/Maintenance Worker Full Time Poteau Posted 3 days ago Carl Albert State College is accepting applications for a Construction/Maintenance workerfor the Poteau campus. This position is responsible for the preventative maintenance and facility repairs of all building, utility systems and other related work, while adhering to the procedures and techniques of the construction trade. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Coordinate and perform routine maintenance and repairs on campus Maintain shop and work site in a clean and orderly manner Move furniture/set up offices and academic spaces Assist with special set-ups of facilities Lock and unlock assigned buildings Perform resident housing work order requests in a timely manner Operate tractors, lawn mowers, power equipment and hand tools Observes and reports the need for repair that go beyond the scope of this position

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent; Knowledge or ability to learn standard facility methods and equipment; Must be able to lift and push/pull 50lbs.; able to bend, walk, stand, reach and kneel. Must have a valid Driver's License.
