PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Assist in the maintenance and repair on a variety of production equipment

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform regular preventative maintenance on all machinery and equipment, including oiling and greasing of machinery. Maintain accurate maintenance records on all equipment. Disassemble, select repair procedures and repair or replace worn or defective parts using hand tools, hand power tools and simple machine tools. Assist in moving equipment. Notify supervisor (or lead person) immediately of problems, concerns or questions you may have. Follow special job instructions as communicated by Maintenance Lead or managers. Any other duties as assigned by Plant Manager or Maintenance Lead. Keep work area clean and free of hazard Actively promote and maintain a safe work environment. Comply with all Company policies.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

Basic knowledge of industrial maintenance Must have own set of hand tools Knowledge of metal stamping/fabrication equipment High level of mechanical aptitude Able to read English as required for interpreting manuals and prints; and to speak and understand English to communicate effectively with co-workers Safety and quality minded Self motivated, takes initiative Capable of working with minimal supervision.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Metal shop environment; Air conditioned plant area; Heights; Small spaces; Appropriate personal protective gear required at all times while in the shop.

LEVEL:

Works under minimal supervision, exercises large degree of discretion and independent judgment. Works under the pressure of deadlines.

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 45.0 - 55.0 per week
