Job Summary Boone County Fiscal Court is now accepting applications for seasonal employment in the Parks Maintenance Department. This position is under the Parks Maintenance Management Team. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, general parks maintenance (emptying trash, cleaning restrooms), turning athletic lights on and off, locking restrooms and parks nightly and general parks maintenance. Employment season typically runs from early fall through late spring.
Requirements:
Qualifications Education and/or Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Language Skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English. Ability to communicate effectively with staff and the public. Mathematical Skills Basic math proficiency required. Reasoning Skills Ability to identify and solve basic operational issues. Understand and apply safety procedures and job-specific protocols. Work Environment Work is performed in varying outdoor conditions, including extreme temperatures and moisture. Noise levels are moderate; exposure to snow, rain, and water immersion may occur. Comments Must be 18 years or older, bondable, and maintain confidentiality as needed. Must present a neat, professional appearance. Must attend required training and be willing to obtain a CDL if not already held.
