This role oversees planned overhaul project planning and execution, vendor and contractor management, and predictive and preventive maintenance programs, while providing technical support for plant and process improvements. Schedule Full time, with occasional overnight travel required. This position requires on call availability at any time to address emergency conditions, operational issues, or maintenance problems, including standby duty. Compensation $150,000 to $170,000 per year, based on experience. What You'll Do The Maintenance Manager will coordinate and conduct performance, functional, and surveillance testing of plant systems and components, comparing data against established standards to assess component wear, malfunction, and repair or replacement needs, while working to continually improve plant equipment performance. This person will use analysis techniques to identify developing equipment issues before they cause forced outages, support the development of preventative and scheduled maintenance activities, assist with outage planning, and evaluate equipment failures through root cause analysis to prevent recurrence. Working closely with the Operations Manager, this role tracks facility service hours, equivalent starts, and other operating parameters to update Major Maintenance Inspection schedules for combustion turbines, update Major Maintenance expense projections for inspections and overhauls, and track component repair schedules to ensure parts availability. The Maintenance Manager directs the activities of maintenance department personnel to ensure generating requirements and plant efficiency are maintained in compliance with local, state, and federal safety and environmental standards, and ensures facility work orders are completed and closed out using the CMMS (Maximo). This person will assist the General Manager in developing annual maintenance budgets, oversee the site CMMS program to schedule work, prioritize work orders, maintain inventory, and procure parts and materials, and provide coaching, training, and development opportunities for the maintenance team. Additional responsibilities include assisting in the investigation of plant problems, incidents, accidents, and unusual events with follow up recommendations and reports, conducting inspections of boilers, pressure vessels, turbines, generators, and auxiliary equipment during forced and annual outages, and providing technical support in preparing specifications, evaluating bid proposals, and monitoring contractor work for QA/QC compliance during outages. This role also coordinates with Corporate Engineering and maintains external contact with maintenance and engineering firms, manufacturer representatives, and vendors, along with frequent internal contact with shift supervisors, technicians, and plant operations and maintenance personnel. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent 10+ years of relevant power plant related experience Ability to physically transit plant facilities and stairways Availability for on call and standby duty to address emergency conditions Preferred Qualifications Maximo CMMS experience Proficiency in MS Office, with an emphasis on Excel Experience managing represented (union) maintenance personnel Experience with combustion turbine maintenance planning and Major Maintenance Inspection scheduling Compensation and Benefits $150,000 to $170,000 per year Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401k retirement plan Paid time off To apply, submit your resume for consideration.
