Join Kellanova as a Maintenance Planner within our Maintenance & Asset Management team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You'll develop and optimize preventive maintenance plans, coordinate work orders, and ensure critical production assets are reliable and available. Partner closely with operations, engineering, and vendors to schedule repairs, plan downtime, manage spare parts, and improve equipment performance. Responsibilities Develop and maintain detailed preventive and predictive maintenance plans for manufacturing equipment and utilities Create, schedule, and prioritize work orders in the CMMS to support safe, reliable plant operations Coordinate with maintenance technicians, production, and engineering to plan equipment downtime and minimize production impact Ensure necessary parts, tools, drawings, and documentation are available before work is scheduled Maintain accurate equipment records, bill of materials, and critical spare parts lists Analyze maintenance history and performance data to identify trends and recommend reliability improvements Support root cause analysis and corrective action planning for recurring equipment failures Collaborate with vendors and contractors to scope, schedule, and coordinate outsourced maintenance work Monitor maintenance KPIs such as schedule compliance, backlog, and equipment downtime, and prepare regular reports Continuously improve maintenance planning and scheduling processes in line with Kellanova's safety, quality, and sustainability standards Required Skills Maintenance planning and scheduling CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) proficiency SAP PM or similar EAM system Preventive and predictive maintenance (PM/Pd M) Reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) concepts Bill of materials (BOM) and spare parts management Work order creation and prioritization Technical drawing and equipment documentation review Root cause analysis and failure investigation support Capacity planning and resource leveling Basic budgeting and cost tracking for maintenance work Vendor and contractor coordination Data analysis and maintenance KPI tracking Microsoft Excel and data reporting tools Strong written and verbal communication Cross-functional collaboration with production and engineering
