POSITION DESCRIPTION

The person working as dryer plant maintenance technician shall perform assigned duties on a daily basis, including, but not limited to preventive maintenance checks and services, documenting all actions as required. Must work from a prioritized list and perform all duties in a timely manner. Must remain flexible, being prepared to deal with occasional changes in responsibility, as well as schedule.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Responsible for performing preventive checks and services in assigned areas. Responsible for all documentation required by Operating Procedures. Familiarize and insure compliance and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices Handbook (GMP) policies. Responsible for complying with all Rose Acre Farms policies and procedures. Inform (within a reasonable period) the Maintenance Manager, Breaking Plant Manager or Complex Manager of any urgent or emergency situations that require immediate attention or approval. Perform any other duties deemed necessary or vital to Rose Acre Farms operations or interests. Insure housekeeping duties are routinely completed. Be familiar with and conform to all Rose Acre Farms' Biosecurity Program policies. Must be able to lift 65 lbs. Must be able to reach area only accessible by ladder. Must be able to climb to and work on equipment in hard-to-reach areas. Must be able to learn new areas of responsibility. Must often work without supervision.

Pay:

From $19.00 per hour
