SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Building Maintenance Technician to oversee the repair, maintenance, and improvement of facility infrastructure and grounds. This role combines hands-on maintenance responsibilities with coordination of external contractors. The ideal candidate will possess strong construction and facility maintenance knowledge, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment that supports continuous plant operations. The primary objective of this position is to ensure all building systems, structures, and grounds are maintained in a cost-effective manner that supports 24/7 production operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Must be capable of regular and predictable attendance Able to work overtime as needed Able to work holidays as needed Lead and coordinate daily building maintenance and repair activities. Install, repair, and maintain porcelain tile, grout, and other facility finishes. Perform minor rubber roof repairs and coordinate larger roofing projects with contractors Complete painting projects and repair damaged or peeling surfaces. Install and repair ceiling tiles and related components. Perform general building maintenance, repairs, and facility improvements. Obtain and evaluate bids from contractors for lawn care, snow removal, and other grounds maintenance services. Coordinate and oversee contractors performing roof repairs and other outsourced building maintenance work. Monitor and ensure the effectiveness of weed-control services Performs other duties as needed and/or assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Associate degree in Construction Technology, Building Maintenance, or a related field preferred; or a minimum of two (2) years of relevant construction or building maintenance experience. Strong knowledge of general building repair and maintenance practices. Strong organizational, communication, and project coordination skills. High attention to detail with excellent follow-through on assignments and projects. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and operational demands.

Pay:

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
