Shop Foreman Full-Time Rossville, IN About the

Role:

Acculevel is looking for a hands-on Shop Foreman to oversee our daily shop operations with a heavy emphasis on inventory management . This isn't just a desk job—you will be the heartbeat of our production, ensuring our crews have exactly what they need to succeed in the field. You will balance logistical organization with physical, manual labor to keep our facility running at peak efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Control:

Manage all incoming and outgoing materials; perform regular cycle counts to ensure 100% inventory accuracy.

Shop Leadership:

Supervise shop activities, maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment.

Manual Labor:

Load and unload trucks (by hand and using equipment), move heavy materials, and assist with equipment maintenance.

Logistics Coordination:

Work closely with the production team to stage materials for upcoming jobs and ensure crews are out the door on time.

Facility Maintenance:

Perform minor repairs and oversee the general upkeep of the shop and yard.

Documentation:

Utilize internal software to track inventory levels, orders, and equipment logs.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Experience:

2+ years in a shop lead, foreman, or warehouse management role.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to lift 50-75 lbs repeatedly and remain on your feet for the majority of the shift.

Detail Oriented:

A "neat freak" mentality regarding inventory and tool organization.

Equipment Skills:

Proficiency with forklifts and general power tools is preferred.

Communication:

Strong verbal and written communication skills (as seen in our fast-moving interview process!).
