Day & Night Adecco is partnering with a leading food manufacturing company to hire a
Utilities Supervisor
to lead maintenance and utilities operations while keeping production running safely, efficiently and reliably. This is a
hands-on leadership role
— approximately 25-30% technical/maintenance work and 70-75% team supervision, coaching and development.
What You'll Do:
Lead, train and develop the maintenance/utilities team
Oversee daily maintenance activities, equipment readiness and production support
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical/electrical equipment and utility systems
Support
ammonia refrigeration, boilers, compressed air, steam, HVAC, pumps, motors and PLCs
Manage ammonia system inspections and
Process Safety Management (PSM)
requirements
Partner with Production, Quality and Engineering to minimize downtime and improve efficiency
Drive preventive/condition-based maintenance and continuous improvement
Maintain strong food safety, GMP, environmental and safety standards
Manage maintenance inventory, critical spare parts and department costs
What We're Looking For:
Strong maintenance/utilities leadership experience in a
manufacturing environment
Hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Experience with
industrial ammonia refrigeration
strongly preferred
Experience leading and developing a maintenance team
Food manufacturing/processing experience is a plus
Strong understanding of safety, food safety and regulatory compliance
Comfortable working directly on the production floor in a fast-paced environment If you're a
